July School Holiday Programme

McCahon House will run four art workshops over the coming July school holiday. There are two types of classes to choose from -

painting or construction, both of them are inspired by McCahon's Titirangi paintings and the beautiful native bush garden surrounding the house museum. Why not do both?

Both classes are suitable for ages 7 and above. (Younger children are welcome with an accompanying parent or guardian).

Birds & Words
We will first experiment with traditional and modern watercolour painting techniques. Then we take these skills to build up in layers a stunning native bird and word painting.

Don't forget to bring some lunch.
